Jakarta- Industri otomotif nasional terus melaju.Selain pasar dalam negeri kian membaik, produsen mobil pun serius melebarkan sayap ke mancanegara. Sekjen Gabungan Industri Kendaraan Bermotor Indonesia ( Gaikindo ) Freddy Sutrisno mengatakan, dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, volume ekspor mobil terus meningkat.
“Bahkan, tahun ini diprediksi melonjak.Gaikindo memproyeksikan bisa tembus 100 ribu unit, “ujarnya ketika dihubungi JawaPos Sabtu (22/3). Freddy mengatakan ekspor mobil memang terkait dengan komitmen prinsipal. Misalnya, komitmen prinsipal Suzuki di Jepang yang menunjuk Indonesia sebagai basis Produksi APV. “Saya lihat komitmen itu cukup besar, bahkan bisa diikuti prinsipal lain,” tuturnya.
Salah satu produsen yang serius membidik pasar ekspor adalah Suzuki. Tahun lalu, Indomobil Group yang memayungi Suzuki di Indonesia mengekspor 17 Ribu APV. Tahun ini angkanya bakal ditingkatkan hingga 20 Ribu Unit.
Presdir Indomobil Group Gunadi Sindhuwinata mengatakan, pasar ekspor menjadi tolok ukur Kualitas produk yang dihasilkan produsen di Indonesia apakah sudah memenuhi standar Internasional.”Buktinya, APV bisa diekspor ke 62 negara,” ujarnya. Saat ini, Indomobil mengekspor APV ke berbagai negara seperti Australia, Afrika Selatan, India, Pakistan, serta negara di kawasan ASEAN, Timur Tengah, dan Amerika Selatan.
Satu hal yang menggembirakan, local content atau komponen lokal Suzuki APV yang diekspor sudah mencapai 76 persen. Menurut dia, angka tersebut merupakan yang tertinggi untuk semua produk yang diekspor. “Ini membanggakan, “katanya.
Selain APV, Indomobil mengekspor Chery QQ ke Malaysia dan Thailand diatas 100 unit per bulan. Untuk Chery QQ, komponen lokalnya 40 persen, mulai Velg, ban, hingga bahan interior.”Kami juga menyiapkan ekspor truk Hino,” sebutnya.
Freddy menambahkan, Gaikindo menyadari ancaman perlambatan ekonomi dunia menyusul gejala resesi di AS. Namun, dia berharap itu tidak terlalu berpengaruh terhadap kinerja ekspor otomotif nasional. Disamping itu, komitmen prinsipal menunjuk Indonesia sebagai basis produksi harus diimbangi pemerintah.”Maksud kami, harus didukung infrastruktur penunjang, ” jelasnya.
Dia menyebut, adanya pelabuhan khusus ekspor mobil di Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, memang sudah cukup bagus. Namun, dia berharap agar pemerintah terus mengembangkan infrastruktur lain seperti akses dari jalan Tol ke pelabuhan ataupun lahan parkir di pelabuhan. “Itu harus mulai disiapkan untuk mengantisipasi terus meningkatnya volume ekspor mobil.”

Ferrari sudah meluncurkan mobil barunya yang diberi nama F2008. Lalu apa kata pembalap nomor satu Ferrari, Kimi Raikkonen, tentang tunggangan baru tersebut?

Peluncuran F2008 yang dilakukan di markas Ferrari di Fiorano menjawab rasa penasaran sejumlah kalangan tentang seperti apa bentuk mobil Ferrari yang akan berlomba di musim F1 tahun ini.

Tak ada perubahan radikal dalam F2008. Kecuali adanya ECU yang distandardkan, transmisi yang lebih awet, pengaman lateral kepala dan materi baru, sesungguhnya perbedaan F2008 dengan F2007 (mobil Ferrari tahun lalu) sangatlah tipis.

Sebagai orang yang akan mengemudikan F2008 di sepanjang tahun ini, Kimi pun memberikan penilaiannya. Termasuk di antaranya adalah kokpit mobil yang lebih sempit ketimbang mobil yang terdahulu.

“Ada banyak perubahan. Yang utama adalah tidak adanya lagi traction control. Itu akan mempersulit pengemudian di saat (trek) basah,” terang Kimi di ANSA sebagaimana dilansir dari YahooSports.

Kimi, bersama pembalap kedua Felipe Massa, pun bersiap untuk menyesuaikan diri. “Kami harus mengubah gaya mengemudi. Tapi itu pun terjadi dengan semua mobil baru,” ujar pembalap Finlandia itu tetap dengan gayanya yang khas, kalem dan dingin.

Bersama F2008, Kimi pun melontarkan optimismenya. “Fakta bahwa saya menjadi juara dunia tahun lalu memberi saya kepastian bahwa saya bisa mencobanya lagi tahun ini,” ujar Kimi mantap.

Kimi sendiri dijadwalkan akan mulai menguji F2008 di Fiorano pada Senin 7 Januari 2008 ini. Kemudian, seluruh kru Ferrari akan menjalani acara musim dingin tahunan di Madonna Di Campiglio.

domestic truck maker.
Note: The unaudited results were compiled under domestic
accounting standards. Year earlier figures were revised to
reflect new accounting rules.
Beijing Foton attributed its first-half profitability to
strong market demand which pushed up its vehicle sales by 16.5
percent to 210,810 units.
The company said it remained China’s biggest light truck
seller in first half, with sales totalling 169,997 units.
Sales of medium-to-heavy-duty trucks came to 32,301 units, it
said, without providing comparative figures.
Its operating profit came to 353.69 million yuan ($46.63
million) during the period versus 14.01 million yuan of losses a
year earlier, with unspecified income from non-core businesses
rising to 13.39 million yuan from 5.22 million yuan. Operating
costs rose to 13.01 billion yuan from 9.39 billion yuan.
Beijing Foton runs a $240 million engine-making venture with
Cummins Inc. (CMI.N: Quote, Profile, Research), holding a 50 percent stake.
DaimlerChrysler DCXGn.DE had earlier agreed to take 24
percent of the Chinese firm, but the deal is still pending
government approval.
That deal was reached before private equity firm Cerberus
Capital bought an 80 percent interest in Chrysler from its parent
DaimlerChrysler.

Firstly, management area and production area were adjusted in order to set up a strategic development platform for the corporation. Before all, Foton formed its corporation center for decision-making and strategic management, and its production base for medium & heavy duty trucks, bus and engine in Beijing.
